The latest edition of the Muswell Hill FIDE Rapid took place on Tuesday 13 May at The Clissold Arms in East Finchley—and it was another strong day of competitive chess in a great venue. International Master Peter G. Large stole the show with a perfect 6/6, claiming first place and the £100 top prize. His calm, clean style remains as effective as ever. Second place and £50 went to Mikhailo Kapechun, who scored a solid 5/6. The £50 rating prize was won by Vineet Sood, finishing on 3.5/6 in a tightly packed midfield. Final Top 5 Standings:
