5-round weekend events held regularly at the London Mindsports Centre (you can play Bridge and Go too!) in Hammersmith, 21 Dalling Rd, London W6 0JD. For planned dates please see below and links to entry forms. NEXT EVENT IS

Friday 30/May/2025 – Sunday 01/Jun/2025

The tournament is FOUR SECTIONS, 5 rounds, swiss format (not a knockout).

SCHEDULE FOR TOP THREE SECTIONS

Round 1 on Friday 18.30 (6.30pm to 10.30pm)

Round 2 & 3 on Saturday 10.00am and 15.00 (3pm)

Round 4 & 5 on Sunday 10.00am and 15.00 (3pm)

Time control: (90min + 30 sec/move)

Byes: Players may take up to 2 half-point Byes in any round except the final round, where you can take a zero point bye.

PRIZES

Open £450 (£200 £150 £100)

U2000 and U1650 £320 each (£150 £100 £70)

You must be Under 2000 / Under 1650 in both the ECF and FIDE standard lists at the start of the event if you wish to play in the Under 2000 / Under 1650 sections. We reserve the right to move players up a section. The higher of the two ratings will be used to determine seeding and eligibility for any other prizes. Players in the ECF Under 1400 (just Saturday and Sunday) should be Under 1400 ECF standard.

Sections: Open, U2000 & U1650 plus ECF Under 1400 (just Saturday and Sunday)
Top three sections are FIDE & ECF rated
Entry fee £50 (+£15 pay-to-play for non members and Bronze ECF members)
DISCOUNTED Entry fee of £25 for Women Girls, WGM, GM, WIM & IM title holders)
No outside food/drink allowed at the venue
