Hosted by Hendon Chess Club but open to everyone. 🏆 First and second prizes, plus £20 Best Hendon Member. 📝 Enter: 🏆 4–6 SEPTEMBER — Army & Navy Club FIDE Congress📍 Army & Navy Club, 36 Pall Mall, London SW1Y 5JN Five rounds of standard chess: Friday 6.30pm, Saturday 10am & 3pm, Sunday 10am & 3pm. I’m particularly looking forward to this one — it’s a wonderful and rather unusual setting for a chess congress. Important: players must be 16+. Jacket and trousers required; no jeans or trainers. Ties encouraged. No spectators except club members.
