Open to all RAPID x 6 games, 10.30am start, Round 2 11.30am, Round 3 at 1.15pm and then as soon as possible after the last game finishes. 6 games at 20 minutes each PLUS 5 seconds a move, all FIDE and ECF rated, ECF GOLD membership required

Open to all STANDARD FIDE and ECF x 2 games, 60 minutes each plus 30 seconds a move, all players must be rated at FIDE standard, 10.30am and 2pm start.  ECF Gold or Platinum

Hendon Blitz

The Hendon Blitz is this Thursday 12th September.

PRIZES - 1st = [number of entries x £1], 2nd = [half the 1st prize), Best Hendon Member = £20.00

The tournament is 6 rounds, 7.30pm to 10pm and the venue is Cumberland Lawn Tennis Club, 25 Alvanley Gardens, London NW6 1JD.

Members: complete the form, the entry fee is £8.00 for members of Hendon Chess Club, please pay in advance if possible. PLEASE BRING CHANGE IF YOU PAY ON THE NIGHT!

English Chess Federation Membership Requirement - if you are ENGLISH then you MUST BE A Gold or Platinum member to play.

Open to All / Major Under 1900 [FIDE and ECF] / Minor Under 1700 [FIDE and ECF] / Amateur ECF Under 1400 

Four sections - tournaments of five rounds with 2 half point byes available

One round on Friday 25th (7.00pm to a possible 11pm finish)

Two rounds on Saturday 26th (10.30am & 3.30pm)

Two on Sunday 27th (10.30am & 3.30pm)

Players in the Open section may have any rating for either their FIDE or ECF. This is the top section. Grandmasters and International Masters register for free entry (must be ECF Gold members if English).

- Players in the Major section must be Under 1900 in the FIDE and the ECF standard rating list at the start of the event.

- Players in the Minor section must be Under 1700 in the FIDE and the ECF standard rating list at the start of the event.

- Players in the Amateur ECF Under 1400 must be Under 1400 in the ECF standard rating list at the start of the event.  This section is rated by the ECF but not FIDE.
