LJCC is once again running adult congresses over the festive period. On December 14th & 15th we host the Northwick Park Congress at Marylebone. It's a fabulous venue and a lovely place to be a couple of weekends before Christmas. On December 28th / 29th / 30th we run our Christmas Congress at Westminster University Harrow Campus, and that's another great venue. For Junior players, the LJCC (London Junior Chess Championships) celebrates its centenary this year. No qualification is needed for U16s and U14s. There are still chances to qualify for the U12s, U10s, and U8s. All information can be found on our website: Please join us! From Friday 28th February to Sunday 2nd March 2025 - Players in the Major section must be Under 1900 in the FIDE and their national rating list at the time the event is played. - Players in the Minor section must be Under 1650 in the FIDE and their national rating list at the time the event is played. GUARANTEED PRIZES In the OPEN and U1900 and U1650 sections = 1st €200, 2nd €100 - these prizes will be shared in the event of a tie. Plus a rating prize of €80.00 in each sections.
